Emma-Phrodite,

Merci Effy!

Ils sont tous assez vieux, sauf Why won’t I love you?

I am Clean

Walls too pure for sunshine
So perfect taste of wine

Floors as new bright as moon
Faith in loyal hearts soon

No sacrifice today
Blood all rained on away

Faded flames of despair
Suns of Life at last there

Secret place of all feels
Allowed my only seals

Temple sacred again
Incense the scent of vein

Apparences are Golden

Apparences are Golden,
Need so much work to thicken,
Other metals to harden,
Don’t you tell it’s any fun,

Apparences are Golden,
Soft and anxiety driven,
So loved they just get stolen,
None of this last most often.

Truth is a long forgotten
Diamond with not a sun
To shine its beauty and stun,
You all want it but you run:

The sight has consequences,
The approach even carries
A question in your wishes
As one that never rises.

You can hide, you can beg please,
Your own Truth is what you seize,
Inside, lies began to freeze,
There’s no going back to these:

Diamonds don’t break at ease,
You are of a rare species,
Fight the world and won’t appease,
If you miss appearances.

"Hey hello honey, how wonderful was the night?"
"I can't recall... I fell asleep in your arms, right...?
"Right." "Then you already know it's been a delight..."
"Nice, but surely not as much as my current sight."

I feel my cheeks getting all shily warm again:
"Stop it, will you?" "If you stop me from looking, then."
I can't. It feels too nice. The hands slide in my den:
"Waking up with you, I'm the luckiest of men."

The soft tongue folds in: "I love you from dawn to dawn."
As the kiss breaks, I wrap my arms around and yawn:
"That's an old one, but still works for me." A soft moan:
"Oh I could show you something so much new, my faun..."

I giggle, escaping the sheets: "Not now, sorry..."
"Yeah I know, we gotta start the day already."
"I'm afraid. Let's cross the mundane shit out, shall we?"
"With you, nothing can feel mundane enough, baby..."

My personal glass is empty. I rince it twice,
Then three, then four times: "It's enough, it's clean and nice."
"That is right." Time to fill it and just take my slice
Of mind peace for the day. Water is cold as ice.

My eyes are lost on the surface: there is nothing,
But I look intensely, as always, I am staring,
And I hate that self-worth detrimental feeling
That the slice compensates what makes me a weakling.

I stand up an hour catching up with dishes,
But it's only perfect time for shoulder kisses.
I finally sit to get breakfast, and this is
When the hands are back to gently own their Mrs.

My daughter joins. As usual she's not hungry yet.
We chat, but it's soon time for homeclass, so let's set.
Lunch is to be made, the kitchen is where I get
A bit of room for those sweet things slightly private.

I feel a urge: "Come here..." My back slams on a wall.
As nobody is coming down the tiny hall,
The hands grasp my shoulders, wander over my soul,
I won't stop them unless food threatens to burn whole.

Food is okay on the plates, talks go on and 'round,
Small loving words slip into my mind, and their sound
Makes me lose track of our chatting's common ground,
Luckily a whole other subject has been found.

I sigh at the sink: so much progress has been lost.
"Jeez, don't wanna slave myself at any cost..."
"You got better things to do, this now you can ghost."
I shrug the complain off, turn to the love outpost:

"That is right. Might as well enjoy the few hours..."
"... Before the day is once again not all ours."
The silky tongue folds in, and its light taste lowers
The weight of my thoughts at the future dish towers.

There's not much to bother me in the caring arms,
As my daughter is full on her virtual farms,
But soon reality for both of us rearms:
It is already time for homeclass and its charms.

School is hard when you left it for twelve years I guess,
But why they’d ask Ganesh’s knowledge from kids, no less?!
"Carry on, you're almost there." The words ring and bless
Both me and the attending child from my love mess.

Time has rolled, tomorrow there will be more homeclass,
For the time being, we sit there and make time pass
With some games and talks cause dinner is, alas!
Still away as I pick up my personal glass.

"Everything will be fine..." The words sigh to my mind.
Time comes for making dinner: "Hi love, would you mind..."
Before I fathom the annoyance I could find,
The arms shield my belly like a seatbelt of some kind.

Dinner is served. Dinner is over. On the couch,
The day ends with more games and I see in her pouch
My daughter who'd better go to her bed. I crouch:
"She's sleeping already, let's get her there... Aouch!"

"She's not light anymore, or have I weakened more?"
"You're still the strongest woman I know, mi amore."
The smile lifts my lips and muscles, and I harbor
The ship in her room, check the windows, check the door:

Breathing purposefully, I pull on all the knobs
The exercise stresses my heart, I come to sobs.
The fingers start massaging one of my earlobes:
"The place is safe, love, you know you have done the jobs."

Their tips now brush my cheek: "Are we alone for now?"
The sweet tongue folds in, the hands run a little low,
The arms sweetly possess me to chase my sorrow:
"I love you..." My words sigh under the softest show.

Playfully tossed on the couch, I smile like never:
"Life's so nice with you, I couldn't be happier..."
"Challenge accepted..." The smile spreads even wider,
Then to cherish my vessel more, rolls me over.

I slowly drift to the dream world: "Goodnight, soulmate..."
The eyes are shut close, still they see me trusting fate:
I fondly remember the times I got to date
The one I cuddle, feeling my only heart rate...
